Two New videos Coming! Lighthouses!!

We are putting the finishing touches on two new videos of Door County Lighthouses!

The unique thing here is we chartered a fly-over photographer and we have 8 lighthouses/lights all from beautiful aerial shots! Awesome!

The 1st video will cover 4 lights and the 2nd will cover another 4 lights.

Our area businesses will be participating in an “in costume” Halloween Trick or Treat Safe Walk for children scheduled from 1pm - 4pm on Saturday the 31st.
Participating businesses will be displaying a poster that has a pumpkin with ghosts around it and they’ll have plenty of treats for the kids!

Mojo Rosa's is giving any child 12 and under a kids meal to eat if they come in costume.
The Landing Resort will be having a haunted house in their lobby loft area. Trick or Treaters are welcome to take a walk thru - if they dare!

2009 DOOR COUNTY FALL 50 DISTANCE RUN

Location: From Northern Tip to Sturgeon Bay

Billing itself as the most scenic distance run in the Midwest, the Fall 50 is a 50-mile distance run for teams of 1 to 5 runners. The journey begins at 8AM on Saturday at the northern tip of the Door County Peninsula and travels along the scenic western shoreline to Stone Harbor Resort in Sturgeon Bay. Registration fees include race entry, a long-sleeved t-shirt, course support, finishers’ medal and a post-race party at Stone Harbor that includes free snacks, pizza, beer, wine and soda. THIS FUN FAMILY DAY FOR ALL FEATURES ACTIVITIES AND GAMES FOR KIDS AND ADULTS. TAKE A WALK ON THE HAUNTED TREASURE HUNT. HOP A HAY WAGON FOR RIDES THROUGH THE FIELDS. CLIMB IN THE GIANT HAY CASTLE. PLAY THEMED GAMES FOR FUN PRIZES. PET AND FEED THE ANIMALS.
