Greetings from Southern Wisconsin. We visited Door County last weekend. The main reason was the shipbuilding tours in Sturgeon Bay, which was very enjoyable! We stayed at Westwood Shores on Bay Shore Drive, which was very impressive in every way. We had a fun time at Birmingham's Restaurant and Bar on Bay Shore Drive. Drove to the tip of the peninsula, thru Peninsula State Park, visited The Clearing, had lunch at the Viking Grill, and drove back down on the Lake Michigan side. We stopped to read all the markers, Very, very, interesting. We really all enjoyed our time in Door County. Thanks to Dan, at Door County Navigator for all the great information on the website!
