Birch Creek Welcomes Door County Art League Artists

Birch Creek Music Performance Center and the Door County Art League (DCAL) have announced their second annual collaborative effort to raise funds for Birch Creek’s music academy students.

A repeat of the successful 2012 Plein Air effort and exhibit which brought artists from both organizations to the campus on concert nights has been expanded for 2013.

Artists are invited to set up their easels to paint before and during any concert in this year’s sessions that begin June 27. The exhibit of finished works including paintings, photography, collage, etc., will be on display in the barn from Wednesday, July 31, during the Jazz I session, through the last performance of Jazz II on Saturday, August 17.

All art work will be for sale with 30% of the proceeds being donated to Birch Creek to benefit Birch Creek students.
