FISH CREEK, Wis. (February 4, 2013) – Four local nonprofits participated in Orchard Country Winery & Market’s semi-annual Cherry Pit Spit Competition on Saturday, February 2^nd. The fun contest challenged contestants to spit a cherry pit the farthest distance.

 

BJ Cassidy of the Women’s Fund of Door County received the top prize, a $100 donation from Orchard Country Winery & Market for her winning spit. The other nonprofits received $50 donations for their participation.
