Bay Holiday Art Crawl
A Holiday Art Crawl will be held Saturday and Sunday,
November 17 and 18, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (or later), in Sturgeon Bay. Fourteen
artists will be exhibiting their artwork in their studios and galleries. Visit
with the artists at their studios and galleries, see new works, buy original
art, and indulge in some art-browsing refreshments.
The artists and locations (all in Sturgeon Bay) are:

Liz Maltman and Rick Risch, 59 W. Maple St.
Will Roberts, 725 S. 15th Ave.
Deb Stroh-Larson, Stroh House, 608 Kentucky St.
Popelka Trenchard, 64 S. 2nd Ave. (Saturday only)
Seven artists will show at Greco Gallery (open ‘til 5
pm), 24 N. 3rd Ave. They are Kelly Avenson, Karen Lee DeNoto, Faith Frykman,
Bethany Kirwen, Pat Olson, Mac Schueppert, and Gina Ward.
Photographer Kelly Avenson will show her stunning photos
of Door County and around the globe.
Plein Air guru Karen Lee DeNoto uses oils and pastels to
fill her canvases with energy, spirit, boldness and motion. Maritime locations are
her favorite subjects. Painter Faith Frykman will display acrylic, oil, and oil
pastel paintings as well as a new line of miniature sculptures made from reborn
jewelry pieces. Award-winning painter Lynn Gilchrist will show her
intensely-colored landscapes and still life paintings in pastels and oils.
Award-winning studio and plein air artist Bethany Kirwen
paints is many media and adds diversity to her portfolio by creating
spirit-lifting puzzles and adding unusual materials like nautical charts and
steel to her canvases.
