Garden Party to Benefit Peninsula Music Festival
Annual Campaign
The Peninsula Music Festival will hold a garden party on Saturday, July 18 at the McKeefry & Yeomans Gardens on Old Lime Kiln Road in Baileys Harbor. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Peninsula Music Festival Annual Campaign. The Annual Campaign is the money needed to make up the difference between ticket sales and the actual cost to present the Festival each August.
There will be two events on Saturday, July 18. The first event will be a Garden Walk from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. for the serious gardener. There will be organized walks through the gardens lead by staff of McKeefry & Yeomans. This will be a time for questions about your garden and help with any problems you may be experiencing. Cameras and sketchpads are encouraged. Coffee and coffee cake will be served and the cost is $20 per person.
The main event will be the Garden Party from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Assorted red and white wines will be served along with a non alcoholic sparkling grape juice. Appetizers and desserts from the Peninsula Music Festival Cookbook will be available. Board members and volunteers will answer questions about the upcoming 57th Season of the Peninsula Music Festival and tickets will be available for purchase to all concerts. The Cookbook, hot off the press, will also be available for purchase.
This is a perfect setting to enjoy conversation and the gardens while sipping wine and sampling delicious food from the Festival’s Cookbook. Different food stations will be scattered throughout the gardens encouraging everyone to eat and socialize. Guests are welcome for the whole three hours or anytime during the Garden Party. Garden hats are strongly encouraged. The cost of the Garden Party is $30 per person.
To reserve your spot for the Saturday, July 18 Garden Party at either 8:00 a.m. or 3:00 p.m. you can call the Festival office at 920-854-4060 or make your reservation at
